Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Enrollment (SMS)

Sabre uses Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) as an essential web security tool. It immediately neutralizes the risks associated with compromised passwords. If a password is hacked, guessed, or even phished, that’s no longer enough to give an intruder access: without approval at the second factor, a password alone is useless. The following is the step-by-step process for enrolling in 2FA.

Enrollment Prompt after login

The first time you login with your new credentials, you will be prompted to enroll. While this is mandatory, you will only be required to enroll once.

Phone number registration

Each user should register a unique phone number, ideally a cellular phone. Each time you login, you will be required to enter a pin number, that can be sent to you either via text, or via phone call. However, we do not recommend using the hotel phone for 2FA. Also, if your hotel phone system has a voice prompt where you are required to key in a number or wait to be transferred to the front desk, the 2FA will not work.
